Art for the People
Last Christmas, Grandma gave me a box of art supplies that included, among other things, drawing paper, markers, and a roll of Scotch tape. Apparently, Grandma had noticed something that had been bothering me for some time: Even though two of the four people who live in our house are under four feet tall, all of the artwork on the walls hung at an adult's eye level. Additionally, little of the artwork features subject matter that appeals to anyone under the age of 25. I understood Grandma's gift as a mandate to right this injustice, to cover the walls in art for people of all heights and age levels. And that's exactly what I've done.

A Memo About the Bathrooms
Let me tell you something:
The bathroom downstairs is the girls bathroom.
The bathroom upstairs just outside my bedroom is the boys bathroom.
The bathroom off of mommy and daddy's room is the family bathroom.
Girls can use the girls bathroom and the family bathroom but not the boys bathroom.
Boys can use the boys bathroom and the family bathroom but not the girls bathroom.
I'm working on labeling all of the bathrooms to clear up any confusion. I'll keep you updated on my progress.
