What I'm up to Lately

Lately, I'm into doors. I like to shut myself in rooms and closets; I also enjoy shutting daddy and the kitties in rooms and closets.

I've also discovered mommy and daddy's CD collection. I don't listen to the CDs. (You can listen to CDs? Wow!) Rather, I tear all of the jewel cases off of the shelves and scatter them about the room. Of course, some of them don't stay in the room; they go down the stairs or over the balcony to the downstairs den. I think I might be able to get the same enjoyment from mommy and daddy's book collection.

That's all for now.

Meyer's Big Day

So, all of the birthday festivities are over, and it's back to the same old, same old in the Tinley household. To all of the party-goers this weekend, we send our thanks for the gifts, the company, and the good times. I hope that you all enjoyed yourselves, as we certainly did! Meyer is definitely blessed to have such a wonderful family! He received many special gifts including tons of clothes, leap frog toys, books, his first pair of tennis shoes, his first scooter bike, cups, utensils, a table and chairs, and a wagon! Thanks again to everyone for making Meyer's first birthday so special and memorable; and to all of those who wanted to be there and couldn't, we understand, love you, and missed you being there!

Happy Birthday, Meyer

Happy first birthday, Meyer! The year has gone so fast, and I can't believe how much you have changed. It's hard to believe that you are the same person who was delivered last year at 12:09 PM, weighing 6 pounds and 10 ounces, and measuring 20 inches.

I hope you have a great birthday. And if, in ten or twenty years, you have no memory of this day, I'm sure mommy will get some pictures.

Welcome to Meyer's Blog

Hi. This is Meyer's daddy. I'm just running a test to make sure that everything is working OK with Meyer's blog.

In case you don't know, tomorrow is Meyer's birthday. He'll be one year old. This blog is a direct link from Meyer's new website, Meyer Tinley.com, which is one of his birthday presents.
