Those Bright Green, Light, Kind-of-but-Not-Exactly Round Vegetables Aren't Actually Apples

As the title implies, I recently learned that those bright green, light, kind-of-but-not-exactly round are not actually apples; they are peppers. I began getting suspicious when I found out that the large, white, round vegetables are not apples either; they are called yanyas.

This Time of Year, a Lot of New Pictures of Me Are Circulating

frogchickennativity.jpg: Morgan and I dressed up as a frog and a chicken, respectively, for Halloween. I do not, however, remember spending any time in a stable with donkeys, cows, and a baby.

meyerxmas05.jpg: Once that fake tree (the one covered in toys that I'm not supposed to play with) goes up, mommy gets out the camera, and mommy and daddy tell me to sit still and look at them. It's a truly excruciating experience, but it occasionally results in some good pictures.

Traveling With the Kitties

I have long wondered why the kitties never go anywhere with us. I guess I figured that they were afraid of the car (much like I am afraid of the vacuum cleaner). But Monday, all four kitties got in the car with mommy, daddy, and me and went over to Mimi's house.

Whenever I ride in the car, mommy and daddy strap me down in a special seat. For some reason, the kitties were aloud to roam freely about the vehicle. (Once Rivers even jumped in my lap.) Even though I lacked mobility, I still managed to kick the kitties and pull their hair as they walked around in the back seat.

Curiously, the car seems to alter the kitties' personalities. Reggie and Naomi, who are usually shy and skittish, become calm and confident; Rivers, who is normally laid back, becomes jumpy; Curtis, who normally acts like he wears the pants in our household, whines like a sick dog.

I look forward to future car trips with the kitties, but think that we should probably invest in four more special seats.
